Infinite RSI! - QQQ

A symphony is an automated trading strategy — Learn more about symphonies here

About

Rides Nasdaq uptrends with 2x leverage, goes very aggressive long after selloffs, and hedges or parks in T‑bills when markets look overheated. Uses RSI and moving averages on QQQ, plus a SPY “overheat” safety check.
NutHow it works
It reads QQQ’s “heat” using RSI, a 0–100 score of how fast price has risen or fallen, over very short to long windows. Very cold = buy 3x tech (TQQQ + TECL). Very hot = hedge/short (UVXY or SQQQ) or step aside (BIL). If no extremes, it follows trend: above long averages it holds 2x QQQ (QLD), else QQQ or BIL. A SPY overheat check can also force BIL.
CheckmarkValue prop
Strong Nasdaq-driven upside with better risk-adjusted returns: OOS return ~72% vs SPY ~17%, OOS Sharpe ~1.34 vs ~1.01, Calmar ~2.22. Leveraged tech exposure with hedges may incur bigger drawdowns, but offers clear outperformance vs the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
