About

A daily switch that reads a short‑term S&P 500 “heat gauge” and rotates between safety (VTIP), the market (VOO), tech (VGT or 3× TECL), or a volatility spike hedge (UVXY). Seeks to hide when hot, buy tech on deep dips, and hold stocks in between.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks a 7‑day “heat meter” (RSI) on the S&P 500 (SPY): high=hot, low=cold. If very hot (>77), buy UVXY (tends to jump when stocks fall). If warm (>55), hide in VTIP (short‑term inflation‑protected Treasuries). If mild (>45), buy VOO (broad U.S. stocks). If cool (>27), buy VGT (big tech). If very cold and tech is washed out (TECL RSI<27), buy TECL (3× tech); else VTIP.
CheckmarkValue prop
Regime-driven rotation among VTIP, VOO, VGT/TECL, and UVXY uses a 7-day SPY RSI to time risk and tech bets. A disciplined, transparent approach aiming for tech upside with defined risk and near-S&P out-of-sample returns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
