This is a very aggressive market-timing strategy. Every day, it checks whether markets look calm, panicky, overheated, or beaten down. Then it usually puts money into just 1 area at a time—often tech, semiconductors, biotech, bonds, or a bet against the market. If fear is very high, it hides in short-term Treasury bills (BIL). If stocks look weak but ready to rebound, it buys hard. If stocks look too hot, it may buy protection or bet on a drop.

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
