About

A tactical, contrarian strategy focused on tech/semis/Nasdaq. It shorts after fast, jumpy run‑ups using 3× inverse ETFs, otherwise rides 3× longs. If the broader market looks overheated, it adds a volatility‑spike hedge (UVXY) and may park in T‑bills when unsure.
NutHow it works
It splits money across three tech‑heavy slices: Nasdaq‑100 (TQQQ/SQQQ), Semiconductors (SOXL/SOXS), and Technology (TECL/TECS). If prices have run up fast and daily swings are big, it briefly flips to the 3× inverse funds; if not, it rides the 3× longs. In short, overheated bursts it may park in T‑bills (BIL). Separately, if SPY/QQQ or sectors like Communications, Staples, or Financials look overheated (high RSI), it buys UVXY, a fund that jumps when fear spikes.
CheckmarkValue prop
Sky-high out-of-sample upside: ~52% annualized vs ~24% for the S&P. Tech/semis tilt with hedges targets big gains; expect higher drawdowns (~61% vs ~19%). UVXY tail-risk hedge and cash ballast help manage risk while pursuing long-run outperformance.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
