About

A daily, rules‑based rotator that rides strong tech/semis uptrends and quickly shifts to cash, Treasuries, dollar, commodities, or inverse/volatility hedges when markets look overheated or falling. Goal: capture growth while keeping drawdowns comparatively small.
NutHow it works
It reads the market’s “weather” each day—trend (price vs 200‑day average), heat/cool reading (RSI: a 0–100 meter of how hot/cold recent buying is), and volatility—and then rotates. Uptrend: go on offense with high‑octane tech/semis (TQQQ/TECL/SOXL). Stress/overheat: shift to cash‑like T‑bills (BIL/SHV), Treasuries (TLT/TMF or TMV), US dollar (UUP), commodities (DBC), or hedges (SQQQ/SOXS/TECS, VXX/UVXY).
CheckmarkValue prop
Tech/semis growth with regime hedging: ~36% annualized OOS return vs SPY ~21%; positive OOS alpha, Calmar ~0.94. Higher drawdowns (~38%) but potential for stronger upside; suited for higher-risk, higher-reward investors.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
