About

Daily, rules-based “correction stopper.” It parks in T‑bills until signals say risk is rising or a reversal is likely. Then it buys UVXY (a volatility spike fund) and sometimes adds a short‑Treasury trend trade (TMV). Uses leveraged ETFs; high risk.
NutHow it works
Most days it sits in T‑bills (BIL/SHV). When Treasuries look steadier than a bearish tech fund, it “turns on,” splitting money between: (1) either a turbo‑Nasdaq fund (QLD) or a volatility‑spike fund (UVXY), picking the one that just fell more; and (2) a bet against long‑term bonds (TMV) only if that trend is up but not overheated. If stocks look very hot or start to slip, it buys UVXY. Otherwise it stays in T‑bills.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return ~24% vs ~19% for the S&P, with positive alpha and negative beta for diversification. It hedges risk (UVXY/T-bills) and targets higher upside with market non-correlation—though drawdowns can be larger.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
