A daily trading strategy that mostly chases tech and semiconductor gains, but can rapidly hide in bonds, cash, gold, commodities, or bearish hedges when markets look overheated or dangerous.

This strategy checks the market every day and rotates among several mini-strategies. Most of them try to ride strong trends in tech and chip stocks, but quickly switch into safer assets like Treasury bonds, cash, gold, the U.S. dollar, commodities, or even “bet-against-the-market” funds when stocks look too hot or too shaky. It uses a few simple ideas: whether prices are rising or falling, whether moves have become extreme, and which mini-strategies have recently been calmer or stronger. Then it spreads money across the best-looking choices.

Out-of-sample, this strategy targets ~24% annualized returns vs SPY around 19–20%, driven by agile tech/semiconductor bets with risk-off hedges (bonds, cash, volatility). Higher upside and diversification, but with higher drawdown risk than the S&P.
