About

A daily, rules‑based switcher. In uptrends it rides high‑beta tech/semis with 3x ETFs; on dips it buys bounces when bonds confirm; in stress it flips to volatility, inverse ETFs, or Treasuries/commodities. Very aggressive and timing‑sensitive.
NutHow it works
It’s a daily rulebook. 1) Check trend (simple SPY trend lines) and bond/commodity cues (TLT, DBC) to choose offense vs defense. 2) Offense: buy recent winners—mainly 3x tech/semis (TQQQ, TECL, SOXL, UPRO)—or buy dips when RSI (a hot/cold speedometer) says oversold. 3) Defense: if overbought or weak, rotate to volatility (UVXY), inverse funds (SQQQ, SOXS), or cash/bonds (BIL, TMF/TMV).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy targets ~29% annualized returns vs 21% for the S&P, using daily regime-switching to ride tech/semis with leverage and hedges during pullbacks. Expect higher upside but larger drawdowns (~49% vs ~19%).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
