About

A daily, rules‑based swing strategy that rotates among leveraged tech/semis, inverse ETFs, volatility hedges, and bond trades based on hot/cold and trend signals. Goal: ride momentum, buy dips, and defend in selloffs. Very high risk.
NutHow it works
Rebalanced daily. It reads the market’s mood using short‑term hot/cold scores (RSI) and trends on stocks (SPY/QQQ), bonds (TLT/IEF/BIL) and commodities (DBC). Overheated stocks → hedge with volatility (UVXY/VIXY) or go inverse (SQQQ/SOXS). Washed‑out → buy fast rebounders, mainly leveraged tech/semis (TQQQ=3x Nasdaq, SOXL=3x semis, UPRO/SPXL=3x S&P, TECL=3x tech). Falling rates → TMF; rising → TMV. Picks recent leaders/laggards and rotates. High risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy targets higher upside (≈29.7% vs 22.1% for the S&P) via dynamic momentum rotations and hedges. Calmar ≈0.70 shows solid risk-adjusted upside; expect drawdowns >40% in stressed markets.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
