About

A daily, rules‑based “all‑star” that rides tech/semiconductor uptrends with leveraged funds, buys dips, and turns defensive (inverse equities, Treasuries, cash) when stress rises. Bond trends act as a lie detector. Aims for high growth with fast risk control; no K‑1s.
NutHow it works
Each day the system checks: 1) trend (are stocks above/below their recent average?), 2) a short‑term “hot/cold” score (overbought/oversold), and 3) what bonds are doing (a risk check). In strong uptrends it holds leveraged tech/semiconductor funds; on weakness it flips to protection (inverse stock funds, long/short Treasury funds, cash‑like T‑bills) or diversifiers (US dollar, oil, gold). Rebalances daily. Uses only 1099 funds (no K‑1).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this rules-based strategy seeks tech-led growth (≈17.7%/yr) with risk controls (Calmar ≈0.35; Sharpe ≈0.57) and hedges, delivering diversification and risk-adjusted exposure that complements the S&P 500 (no K-1s).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
