About

Fast, tactical trading. If markets look overheated, hedge with UVXY. Otherwise pick the strongest index and ride it with 3x bulls, flip to inverse on rips, buy dips, or sit in T-bills. Uses short-term “heat” (RSI) and trend cues. Very high risk.
NutHow it works
Daily check. Step 1: If big market/sector funds look “too hot” (RSI—a 0–100 heat gauge—very high), it flips into UVXY, a fund that jumps when fear/volatility spikes. Step 2: Otherwise it trades one index (Dow, S&P 500, or Nasdaq)—whichever ranks best. It rides uptrends with 3x bull ETFs (UDOW, UPRO, TQQQ), switches to inverse ETFs (DOG/SH/PSQ or -3x SDOW/SPXS/SQQQ) after sharp run-ups or selloffs, or parks in T-bills (BIL) during messy drops.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy delivers 32.2% annualized return vs 17.4% for the S&P, with a positive risk-adjusted edge (Sharpe ~0.74) and a volatility hedge—capturing higher upside with disciplined risk.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
