About

A daily, rules-based “all-weather” system: ride 3x stock funds in healthy uptrends; when stress appears, rotate into Treasuries, gold, dollar, staples, or hedges. Adds commodity and bond momentum sleeves. Aggressive, diversified, and actively managed.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks the market’s “weather.” - If stocks are calm and trending up, it leans into 3x stock funds (S&P 500 and Nasdaq). - If things look shaky (big drops, rising volatility, weak trends), it shifts to defense: short‑term Treasuries, gold, the U.S. dollar, staples, or hedges (volatility/short funds). - Separate sleeves trade oil, natural gas, gold, and bonds based on simple trend rules. It blends these sleeves and rebalances daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
All-weather, rules-based strategy diversifies across stocks, bonds and commodities. Out-of-sample: 15.3% annual return vs SPY 18.9%, but much lower drawdown (15.4% vs 18.8%), beta ~0.70, Calmar ~1—strong risk-adjusted growth and downside protection.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
