About

Daily tactical mix: mostly buys sharp dips in 3x tech/market funds (TQQQ, SPXL, SOXL) and hedges when overheated (UVXY). When trends look weak it shifts to SQQQ or bonds; a 20% sleeve follows the 200‑day trend into TQQQ/SPXL or defensives. Very high risk.
NutHow it works
Daily, ~80% “Pop” and 20% “Trend.” RSI = short‑term hot/cold (80 very hot, 30 very cold). Pop: if RSI>80, buy UVXY (volatility hedge); if <30, buy 3x bull fund (TQQQ/SPXL/SOXL) for a bounce; else if fear easing (SVXY up 5d) or 60‑day trend up, stay in the bull fund; otherwise use SQQQ (inverse) or short‑term bonds BSV/BIL. Trend: above 200‑day, hold TQQQ/SPXL (inverse‑vol mix) + USDU (long USD), sometimes SVXY; below, rotate to defensives USDU/XLP/XLU/XLE/SHY. Aggressive.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~53.8% annualized return vs SPY ~22.8%, Calmar ~1.53. Leveraged tech exposure with hedges/regime shifts for risk control. Higher upside, but larger drawdowns (~35% vs ~19%).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
