About

Daily, go risk‑on with TQQQ when bonds beat cash; otherwise rotate among TMF (3x Treasuries), VIXY (vol hedge), TECL (3x Tech), or SHV (cash) using short‑term “hot/cold” signals. Uses 3x ETFs; expect big swings.
NutHow it works
Each day it picks one ETF. If broad bonds (BND) have beaten T‑bills (BIL) over ~3 months, it buys TQQQ (3x Nasdaq). Otherwise it runs a safety/contrarian playbook: if stocks just surged hard, buy VIXY (volatility hedge); else favor TMF (3x long Treasuries) when bonds look washed‑out/stronger than cash; if not, buy TECL (3x Tech) on sharp dips, or sit in SHV (cash‑like). Short‑term “hot/cold” is judged by RSI (high=hot, low=cold).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, the strategy delivers ~25.5% annualized returns vs the S&P at ~19.6%, driven by tech-led risk-on rotations and hedges. But it comes with higher volatility and drawdowns (~45% vs ~19%), and a lower risk-adjusted Sharpe.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
