About

A daily tactical plan: buy 3x tech/S&P on short-term dips when credit is strong, hold T‑bills when unclear, and use inverse Nasdaq or a volatility hedge in risk‑off regimes.
NutHow it works
Daily “risk-on/risk-off” switch. If credit (HYG) looks stronger than Nasdaq (QQQ), it buys 3x tech/S&P funds (TQQQ, UPRO, TECL), mainly on sharp short-term dips (a 10–20 day strength gauge flags <30 as washed out). If signals are weak, it parks in T‑bills (BIL). If credit isn’t strong, it flips to hedges (PSQ/SQQQ) and sometimes a quick long on relief rallies when Treasuries (TLT/IEF) lead. A rare rule buys a volatility fund (UVXY) when stocks are extremely hot.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy outperforms the S&P on risk-adjusted terms: ~51% annualized return vs ~19%, Sharpe ~1.11 vs ~0.97, beta ~0.21, with dynamic hedges and leveraged tech/S&P exposure to capture upside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
