About

Daily, it watches market “heat gauges.” When markets look too hot, it scales into volatility funds (VIX) expecting a pullback. When they look washed out, it buys short tech/semis rebounds. No clear edge? It sits in defensive or cash-like ETFs.
NutHow it works
Each day it reads RSI, a 0–100 “heat gauge” of recent price moves. High RSI = market looks hot; low RSI = market looks washed out. - If many indexes/sectors look hot, it steps into VIX/volatility funds that usually jump when stocks fall, scaling from mild to aggressive. - If tech/semis look washed out, it buys brief rebound trades in 3x bulls. - Otherwise it parks in cash‑like T‑bill ETFs or a defensive anti‑beta fund.
CheckmarkValue prop
RSI-driven tactical sleeve that shifts into volatility during market heat and into tech rebounds on dips. In out-of-sample testing it delivered 7.7% annualized returns with active hedges, offering diversification for a SPY-heavy portfolio despite lower raw returns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
