About

Sits in cash‑like T‑bills most of the time. Only flips to a very aggressive short bet against big tech (via a –3x FANG note) when several trend/momentum checks say the market is turning down but not extremely oversold. Rebalanced daily.
NutHow it works
Most of the time it parks money in BIL (a cash‑like T‑bill fund). - If the Nasdaq (QQQ) or S&P 500 (SPY) looks very “hot,” stay in BIL. - If leveraged Nasdaq (TQQQ) looks extremely “cold,” stay in BIL. - If bonds (IEF) have stronger momentum than short‑tech (PSQ), stay in BIL. - If SPY is below its long‑term trend and TQQQ is below its short‑term trend, switch to FNGD (a –3x bet against big tech). Otherwise, stay in BIL. Rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Defensive, rule-based sleeve focused on capital preservation and liquidity. Mostly cash (BIL) with a disciplined, rare hedge against mega‑tech. Out-of-sample: ~3.5% annualized return, Sharpe ~0.27, max drawdown ~30%. A diversification tool with the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
