About

A daily on/off switch for Nvidia: go into a 2× Nvidia ETF when Nvidia’s price has been very jumpy versus a 2‑day RSI ‘heat’ reading; otherwise sit in a T‑bill fund. High risk when “on,” cash‑like when “off.”
NutHow it works
Each day the strategy looks only at Nvidia’s stock price. - It measures 5‑day “jumpiness” (volatility). - It measures a 2‑day RSI, a 0–100 heat gauge of recent buying vs. selling. If jumpiness is higher than that RSI reading, it buys NVDL (a 2× daily Nvidia ETF). Otherwise it holds BIL (short‑term T‑bills).
CheckmarkValue prop
Signal-driven NVDA strategy: leverages 2× exposure when volatility spikes, otherwise sits in cash. Out-of-sample Sharpe 1.58 vs SPY 0.96; drawdown near zero vs SPY ~19%; low beta. Stronger risk-adjusted returns with capital preservation.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
