About

A daily, tech-heavy, regime-switching plan: ride uptrends with 3x Nasdaq/Tech, buy sharp dips, and in downtrends rotate to inverse tech, bonds, or short-term volatility. Very aggressive due to leveraged ETFs and UVXY.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks the Nasdaq-100 trend using TQQQ (a 3x Nasdaq fund). Above the 200-day average: hold TQQQ unless it is overheated (RSI, a 0–100 heat gauge, >81), then switch to UVXY (jumps when volatility spikes). Below the 200-day: buy dips with TECL or SOXL (3x tech/semis) when very weak; else if the short-term trend is down, pick the stronger of SQQQ (profits when QQQ falls) or BSV (short-term bonds); if stabilizing, return to TQQQ. Rebalances daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~82% annualized return vs ~36% for the S&P, with Calmar ~6.4 indicating strong risk-adjusted upside. Expect higher volatility and ~12.8% drawdown, but potential for outsized tech-driven gains.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
