About
A daily switcher: buy tech (XLK) or the S&P 500 (SPY) after sharp drops; otherwise ride Nasdaq strength with QQQ; if neither, sit in BTAL for defense. Uses fast funds (TQQQ/UPRO) only as “thermometers” to time entries.
Daily, it picks one fund:
1) If a fast Nasdaq gauge (TQQQ) shows prices fell hard lately (a low RSI), buy Technology (XLK).
2) Else if a fast S&P gauge (UPRO) is also washed out, buy SPY.
3) Else if Nasdaq is trending up (price above its 20‑day average), buy QQQ.
4) Otherwise hold BTAL (defensive). TQQQ/UPRO are signals only, not purchased.
Regime-switching strategy blending tech upside with defense. Out-of-sample Sharpe ~0.77 and Calmar ~0.68 offer solid risk-adjusted returns and downside control, delivering diversification and smoother, potentially less volatile exposure than SPY in turbulent markets.
