About
Daily, rotate into XLK, JEPI, JEPQ, or BTAL using “oversold” and trend checks from leveraged Nasdaq/S&P funds. Goal: buy tech on deep dips, ride uptrends with income, or shift to defensive when trends weaken.
Each day it picks one fund using two signals from TQQQ (3× Nasdaq) and UPRO (3× S&P):
- RSI: a 0–100 gauge of recent drops; <31 = very sold off.
- 20‑day moving average: a ~1‑month trend line.
If TQQQ RSI<31 → XLK (large‑cap tech). Else if UPRO RSI<31 → JEPI (S&P 500 stocks + options for income). Else if TQQQ>its 20‑day avg → JEPQ (Nasdaq stocks + income). Else → BTAL (defensive: long steady, short volatile).
An income-rich, low-beta rotation strategy that complements the S&P 500. Out-of-sample: ~14.5% annualized return, ~19% max drawdown, Calmar ~0.76, beta ~0.30. Diversified risk, tech dip exposure, and income via JEPI/JEPQ.
