About

Rules-based swing strategy: rides Nasdaq uptrends with TQQQ, but when readings get red‑hot it shifts to S&P 500 or long‑volatility; in downtrends it buys oversold bounces or rotates into Treasuries or short Nasdaq based on recent strength.
NutHow it works
1) Trend filter: If TQQQ (3x Nasdaq) is above its 200‑day average it’s “risk‑on”; else “risk‑off”. RSI (a 0–100 “heat gauge” of recent up/down days) guides entries. Risk‑on: If QQQ’s RSI is extremely hot, rotate to UVIX/UVXY (long volatility) or VOO (plain S&P 500). If not, hold TQQQ. Risk‑off: Buy oversold bounces via TECL/UPRO when RSI < ~31. If no bounce, either TQQQ if short‑term recovers, or whichever is stronger of TLT (Treasuries) or SQQQ (short Nasdaq).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample Sharpe ~7.9 vs SPY ~6.9, higher alpha and adaptive hedges. Aims to beat the S&P by riding trends and volatility spikes, while trimming risk in hot markets—though occasional larger drawdowns can occur.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
