A very aggressive market-timing strategy that leans hard into leveraged Nasdaq/tech when conditions look good, and shifts to bearish Nasdaq bets, Treasury bonds, or cash-like bills when conditions weaken.

This strategy checks the broad U.S. stock market first. If the market looks healthy, it usually buys a turbocharged Nasdaq fund (QLD), but may sit in Treasury bills if tech is losing momentum. If the market looks weak, it rotates among bearish Nasdaq funds, U.S. Treasury bond funds, or occasional oversold bounce trades in leveraged tech/S&P funds. It makes these choices daily.

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
