About

Rules-based rotation: ride mega-caps when they lead; otherwise choose defensive or a milder stock/cash mix based on short-term rates (via BIL). Seeks more upside in big-tech booms and less downside when leadership fades.
NutHow it works
Step 1: Is QQQ (Nasdaq‑100, tilted to giants) beating QQQE (same stocks, equal‑weighted) over ~1 month? If yes, buy MSFT, AAPL, NVDA plus amplified Nasdaq funds QLD (2x) and TQQQ (3x). If not, check BIL’s 1‑yr return. If ≥1.75% (rates high), go defensive: SGOL (gold), BIL (T‑bills), TIP (inflation‑linked Treasuries), USDU (long USD). Otherwise, go mild risk: SCHD (dividends), VOO (S&P 500), and BIL.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: annualized return ~38% vs SPY ~22%, with smaller drawdown (~15% vs ~19%) and solid Calmar (~2.5). Captures mega-cap leadership for upside, but shifts to defensive bets when leadership fades to improve risk-adjusted returns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
