About

Keeps 30% in cash. The other 70% moves daily: hedge with VIXY when the S&P 500 looks very hot; otherwise buy QQQ if credit (HYG) is healthier than short‑term tech, or buy TLT if not. Seeks risk-on when credit is firm and risk-off when it isn’t.
NutHow it works
30% stays in cash. The other 70% shifts daily: - If the S&P 500 (SPY) looks overheated (RSI>70; RSI is a 0–100 gauge of recent gains vs losses), buy VIXY, a fund tied to market “fear” that jumps when volatility spikes. - Otherwise, compare junk bonds (HYG) vs big‑tech (QQQ): if HYG’s 14‑day RSI beats QQQ’s 5‑day RSI, buy QQQ; if not, buy long Treasuries (TLT).
CheckmarkValue prop
Adaptive strategy: 30% cash, 70% tactical bets (VIXY hedge when SPY is hot, else QQQ or TLT by credit). Out-of-sample: Sharpe 0.84, Calmar 0.93, alpha ~1.85%, 17.49% annualized return with drawdowns near the S&P—plus risk control.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
