About

A daily, rules-based switch that reads a simple “too hot/too cold” gauge to rotate among volatility (UVXY), leveraged tech/sector bulls or bears, long Treasuries (TMF), or T‑bills (BIL). It fades extremes and buys deep dips; very aggressive and risky.
NutHow it works
RSI = a 0–100 heat gauge of recent up vs down days (>80 “too hot”, <30 “beaten down”). Checked daily. If global stocks (IOO) are too hot → buy UVXY (volatility). If TQQQ or SPY are too hot → UVXY if UVXY is firm, else BIL (T‑bills). If semis/tech/biotech are beaten down → buy SOXL, TECL, or the weaker of LABU/SOXL. If semis/tech are too hot → short via SOXS/TECS. If bonds are slammed (TMV hot) → buy TMF. If QQQ is beaten down → TECL. Else → BIL. Tickers: TQQQ/QQQ=Nasdaq; SPY=S&P; SOXL/SOXS=semis; TECL/TECS=tech; LABU=biotech; UVXY=volatility; TMF/TMV=long Treasuries; IOO=global mega‑caps; BIL=T‑bills.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this aggressive, rules-based rotation delivers ~33% annualized returns with ~28% max drawdown and Calmar 1.19, beating the S&P on upside while providing dynamic hedges via UVXY, TMF, and leveraged bets for risk-tolerant investors.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
