About

Aggressive, rules-based rotation. It gauges stock trend and an inflation proxy (bonds), then flips between 2x tech up (QLD), 2x tech down (QID/PSQ), or Treasuries (BSV/TLT/TMF/TMV) using trend and overbought/oversold checks.
NutHow it works
Step 1: Is the stock market rising? (SPY above its 200‑day average = uptrend). Step 2: Are long bonds weak? (TLT below 400‑day = inflation pressure). Then it rotates among: QLD (2x up Nasdaq‑100), QID/PSQ (short Nasdaq‑100), BSV (short‑term bonds), TLT (long Treasuries), TMF/TMV (3x long/short Treasuries), guided by trend (price vs 20‑day), “hot/cold” readings (RSI 0–100), and big spike/drop triggers. Sometimes it splits between two picks.
CheckmarkValue prop
Regime-aware, leveraged rotation among Nasdaq-100, S&P 500, and Treasuries targets outsized alpha. OOS: 39.5% annualized return vs SPY 24.3%; Calmar 1.07; Sharpe 1.08 vs 1.45. Higher upside but larger drawdowns (~37% vs ~19%).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
