About

Rules-based, high-risk HFEA variant that reads trends and recent winners to shift among 3× S&P 500 (UPRO), long/short Treasuries (TMF/TLT/TMV), hedges (SPXU), and tech dip buys (TECL). No fixed rebalance; trades when signals flip.
NutHow it works
Checks trends: TLT 350d>550d? SPY above 200d? Then: - In uptrends, hold a 55/45 stocks/bonds mix tilted to the 60‑day winner. - In stock downtrends, buy tech dips (TECL) when QQQ’s RSI is low (<30); else use SHY or hedge with SPXU. - If bonds are weak too, can short them with TMV. ETFs: UPRO=3x S&P; TMF/TLT=long Treas (3x/1x); TECL=3x tech; SPXU=−3x S&P; TMV=−3x Treas; SHY=T‑bills.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this rules-based strategy targets ~27.5% annual return vs SPY's ~22.3%, via adaptive trend-following and tech-dip bets with hedging. It aims for solid risk-adjusted results (Calmar ≈1) despite higher drawdowns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
