This strategy checks the market every day and tries to decide: Is it calm, overheated, weakening, or in panic? It uses simple trend and “stretch” tests on the S&P 500 (SPY) and Nasdaq (QQQ). If markets look dangerously hot or volatility spikes, it may buy UVXY as a crash hedge. In stronger markets, it buys the most beaten-down choice from stock funds or bonds. In weaker markets, it rotates into defensive assets, bearish funds, or very short-term Treasury bills (BIL).
