About

A daily, rule-based mix of leveraged tech, Treasuries, and hedged stock funds. It uses moving-average trends to shift between risk-on, bond-heavy, or defensive stances and sometimes concentrates 75% in the best 1‑month performer.
NutHow it works
Daily rules using moving averages (average price over X days): • If long Treasuries (TLT) > 150‑day avg: if stocks (SPY) > 200‑day avg, split equally across TECL, TQQQ, SOXL (3x tech), TMF (3x Treasuries), PHDG (hedged S&P); else hold TLT. • If TLT ≤ 150‑day: if TLT < 23‑day, split TMV (3x short Treasuries) and UDOW (3x Dow); else put 75% in the top 1‑month performer among TMF, UPRO, TMV, MOAT, BRK/B, USMV (rest cash).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annual return ~30.9% vs SPY ~23.6%, with Calmar ~0.91. A daily, rule-based mix of leveraged tech, bonds, and hedges seeks higher growth via regime shifts—aware it can bring bigger drawdowns in choppy markets.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
