About

A daily rules-based strategy that rotates using trend and momentum between leveraged tech, long/short long‑term Treasuries, and defensive picks. It aims to ride uptrends, hedge when stocks weaken, and hold some cash when nothing leads.
NutHow it works
Daily, it follows trends. If long Treasuries (TLT) are above their 150‑day avg and US stocks (SPY) above 200‑day, it splits equally into TECL/TQQQ/SOXL (3× tech/Nasdaq/semis), TMF (3× long Treasuries) and PHDG (S&P with hedge). If SPY is weak, it holds TLT. If TLT isn’t above its avg: if it’s weak short‑term (below 23‑day), split TMV (3× short Treasuries) and UDOW (3× Dow). Else put 75% in the 30‑day leader among TMF, UPRO (3× S&P), TMV, MOAT, BRK/B, USMV; rest cash.
CheckmarkValue prop
Rules-based regime-aware rotations among leveraged tech, Treasuries, and hedges aim to outperform the S&P 500: 31.36% annualized vs 23.19% (out-of-sample), with risk controls; note larger drawdowns in volatile periods.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
