About

A daily, rules‑based ensemble: chase strength in bull phases with 3x tech/semis; pivot to defense in selloffs using volatility ETPs, inverse tech, Treasuries, gold, or cash. Smoother mini‑strategies get bigger weight; KMLM adds macro diversification.
NutHow it works
Daily it blends 3–4 rules-based mini‑strategies, giving more weight to calmer ones (inverse‑vol). It checks if stocks trend up (SPY/QQQ > 200‑day avg). In uptrends it rides the strongest leveraged funds (3x tech/semis). In stress it flips to hedges: volatility funds (UVXY), inverse tech (SQQQ/SOXS), long Treasuries (TMF), gold, or cash. Signals are price vs its average and RSI (0–100 gauge of hot/cold). KMLM (managed‑futures ETF) is a diversifier/tripwire. High risk: leveraged/vol funds can decay fast.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy delivers dramatically higher risk-adjusted returns than the S&P 500: Sharpe ~3.74 vs ~0.41, Calmar ~90, and strong upside with controlled drawdowns. It adapts to regimes, hedging in downturns and leveraging in uptrends.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
