This strategy splits money into 3 jobs: growth, income, and protection. For growth, it buys stocks more aggressively when the market is calm, especially big tech through QLD. When markets get rough, it may shift part of that money into safer areas like short-term Treasuries, gold, consumer staples, or a defensive stock fund. For income, it spreads money across several bond systems that favor steadier bond funds and reduce risk when long-term bonds become too jumpy. For protection, it leans on gold and whichever defensive assets have been strongest lately, such as Treasuries, commodities, the U.S. dollar, or cash-like short-term bonds.
