About

Rules-based, multi-asset portfolio: lean into tech when trends are healthy or after sharp dips; rotate to Treasuries, gold, staples, and the US dollar when risk rises; small crash hedge available. The yield sleeve times Treasuries; a defensive sleeve adds momentum and gold.
NutHow it works
Three sleeves: Growth 40%, Yield 35%, Preservation 25%. It uses simple gauges—trend (price vs average), momentum (recent return), RSI (overbought/oversold), volatility, and drawdowns. When tech (QQQ) is strong/washed‑out it buys QQQ via QLD/TQQQ; when volatility jumps it shifts to Treasuries (SHY/SHV/TLT), gold (GLD), staples (XLP), USD (UUP/USDU), and may add a crash hedge (UVXY). Yield times Treasuries (incl. 3× TMF/TYD or inverse TMV/TYO). Preservation is a momentum mix plus a fixed gold slice.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~25% annualized return vs 23.5% for the S&P; higher Sharpe (1.76 vs 1.44); much lower max drawdown (9.2% vs 18.8%); lower beta (~0.68). A dynamic, multi-asset, risk-managed path to steadier growth.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
