About

Aggressive, rules-driven tech trend follower that adds hedges (dollar, gold, bonds, volatility) when markets look hot or weak, cuts leverage or goes inverse in downtrends. Uses QQQ/TQQQ in uptrends; PSQ/SH/SQQQ/SOXS when stressed.
NutHow it works
It’s a rule-based “risk-on/risk-off” system. In uptrends (SPY above its 200‑day average), it rides tech (QQQ; TQQQ=triple‑levered QQQ). If short‑term looks “too hot” (RSI, a 0–100 hot/cold gauge, is high), it adds crash insurance (UVXY) and shifts toward dollar/gold/bonds. If momentum sours or drops are large, it de‑leverages to QQQ or hedges (PSQ/SH). Outside the U.S., it toggles VEA on/off.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge vs the S&P: higher risk-adjusted returns and disciplined risk control. Sharpe 2.68 vs 2.42; Calmar 8.95; ~129% OOS annualized vs ~30% SPY. Uses dynamic hedges and leverage shifts for bigger upside with controlled drawdowns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
