About

An adaptive, rules-based strategy that rides tech (mainly QQQ/TQQQ) in uptrends, then quickly hedges with dollar/gold/bonds or flips to volatility/short funds when risk spikes. A meta-selector chooses the best-performing sub-module for current conditions.
NutHow it works
Big idea: ride tech-led uptrends, hedge fast when stress shows up. - If the market is above its long-term trend (price over 200‑day average), prefer QQQ/TQQQ (and at times SPXL/TECL). - If things look “too hot” (RSI very high) or drop fast, shift to hedges (UUP/GLD), cash‑like T‑bills, or volatility/short funds (UVXY, PSQ/SH, SQQQ/SOXS). - A selector picks the sub‑strategy that’s been behaving best recently.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy rode tech uptrends and hedged risk, delivering ~58% annualized return vs SPY ~27%, with Calmar ~3.12—strong, risk-adjusted upside versus the S&P 500 via adaptive, rules-based selection.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
