Daily it reads a short‑term “temperature gauge” (RSI) on the market and key sectors. If readings are very hot, it hedges with a VIX spike bet (UVXY) plus defensive funds (EUM, BTAL). If very cold, it buys 3× tech/Nasdaq/S&P funds (TECL, TQQQ, UPRO), sized by recent calmness. Otherwise a trend check (150‑day) decides between staying aggressive, using a Nasdaq short (PSQ), or sitting in T‑Bills (BIL).
