About

A daily, rules‑based, multi‑strategy portfolio: rides tech strength in uptrends, cuts risk or hedges in sell‑offs, and diversifies with managed‑futures (KMLM), gold, and Treasuries. Uses leveraged ETFs and volatility hedges, so returns—and drawdowns—can be extreme.
NutHow it works
Each day it asks: is the market trend up or down (via a long‑term average)? If up, it mostly rides high‑growth US tech with leveraged funds (e.g., TQQQ/SOXL/TECL). If down, it shifts to cash/T‑Bills, Treasuries, or bearish funds. Simple “speedometers” (RSI—how hot/cold prices got recently) buy dips or add a crash helmet (UVXY, a volatility fund) when overheated. It also mixes in KMLM (a managed‑futures trend ETF), plus small gold and Treasury slices. Calmer engines get more weight.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample results show this strategy delivering far stronger risk-adjusted gains than the S&P 500: annualized return ~239.6% vs ~108.9%; Calmar ~418; drawdowns contained; diversified, regime-aware tech leadership with hedges.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
