About

A fast, tactical strategy that flips between leveraged tech bets and defensive hedges using simple trend and overbought/oversold checks. It can swing into inverse funds, USD, bonds, gold, or commodities when conditions turn. High potential, high volatility.
NutHow it works
It first decides if markets are in “offense” or “defense” using long‑term smoothed prices. In bull mode it rides fast‑moving tech/semis with 3x funds; if tech gets too hot or after big up days, it briefly buys VIX (UVXY) as a hedge. In selloffs it shifts to inverse stock funds, the U.S. dollar, or T‑bills. It also buys “oversold” assets—RSI is a simple speedometer of recent drops (low = washed out).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample upside: ~29% annualized vs SPY ~23%, with risk-adjusted edge (OOS Sharpe ~0.73). Regime-driven leveraged tech bets, hedges, and macro diversification aim for stronger upside; note drawdowns can be large in downturns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
