A daily gold-timing strategy using UGL (2x long) and GLL (−2x short). It rides uptrends with UGL, flips to GLL when gold looks overheated, and in downtrends stays in GLL unless gold looks washed out, then briefly buys UGL.

It trades only two gold ETFs: UGL ≈ +2x gold’s daily move; GLL ≈ −2x. 1) Find the trend with moving averages of UGL (50>200, 20>50, 5>10). 2) In uptrends it holds UGL, unless recent gains look “too hot” (RSI— a heat gauge of recent ups vs downs— is very high), then it flips to GLL. 3) In downtrends it holds GLL, unless RSI is very low (washed out), then it buys UGL. Rebalanced daily.
