About

A daily rule‑based staircase: when transports lead and trends are healthy, it leans into leveraged tech/growth; when warnings appear (trend breaks, rising rates, high volatility), it quickly steps down to cash, bonds, diversifiers, or volatility hedges.
NutHow it works
Daily checks decide “risk‑on” or “risk‑off.” Key beacons: Transports vs S&P (IYT vs SPY), broad trend (SPY vs 200‑day), cash yield, bond health, and volatility. If healthy, it buys fast movers (TQQQ/TECL/SOXL). If overheated or falling, it steps down to cash/Treasuries/gold/dollar/managed futures or adds volatility hedges (UVXY). RSI = how hot/cold price is (0–100).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return ~30% vs SPY ~18.8%, Sharpe ~1.13, Calmar ~1.54. A daily risk-on/off rule set captures rallies and quickly de-risks on signals, delivering higher upside with disciplined downside control vs the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
