About

Daily, two‑mode tech strategy: in high fear it hedges with cash/volatility/bond diversifiers and buys only sharp dips; otherwise it holds 5 trending, high‑activity mega‑cap tech stocks, stepping aside when simple “hot/cold” and trend checks flash risk.
NutHow it works
Rebalances daily with two modes. If market “fear” (VIX) is high, it plays defense: cash‑like T‑bills (BIL/SHV), a volatility fund (VIXY/UVXY), and a low‑beta diversifier (BTAL); it may buy oversold tech (TQQQ/TECL) for quick rebounds. If fear is normal, it owns up to 5 big tech names (AAPL, MSFT, NVDA, AMZN, etc.) that are active and trending up (short‑term > 20‑day). An RSI “hot/cold” score and trend lines trigger hedges or cash when things get overheated or weak.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~65% annualized return vs ~21% for S&P, Sharpe ~1.30 vs ~1.22, Calmar ~2.10. Accepts higher drawdown (~31% vs ~19%) for substantially higher upside and stronger risk-adjusted performance via regime switches.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
