About

A daily-rebalanced, regime-driven mix of leveraged tech exposure and volatility hedges, switching between growth and safety signals to ride up markets and defend against spikes in volatility.
NutHow it works
- It rebalances daily, choosing among a broad asset set (mostly tech and volatility/cash hedges) based on many tests. - Core signals include momentum (RSI-style checks and moving-average comparisons), recent performance (cumulative returns), and risk (max drawdown, standard deviation). - The strategy uses regime logic: Huge volatility, Normal market, and Bond-led regimes influence how aggressively it allocates to growth assets vs hedges/cash. - When conditions favor growth, it leans on leveraged tech/mega-cap positions (like TQQQ, QQQ, TECL, etc.) and a group of mega-caps (AAPL, MSFT, GOOG, AMZN, NVDA, NFLX, CRM, ORCL, CSCO, TSLA). It can also rotate among related tech ETFs (TECL/TECS) based on momentum. - In stressed markets, it shifts toward hedges and cash: UVXY, VIXY as volatility hedges; BIL (short-term Treasuries) and BTAL as safer/alternative hedges; TMF/IEF/TLT/BND for broader bond exposure. - It prioritizes positions via a top-N style selection (by standard deviation of returns) and applies additional asset-specific rules (e.g., RSI against thresholds, moving-average checks) to confirm entries. - The result is a tight, complex tapestry of signals intended to capture upside while limiting downside in volatile regimes.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
