About

Monthly, theme‑rotating momentum strategy. It chooses the 3 strongest growth themes, buys 2–3 top movers in each, and shifts to T‑Bills and small inverse hedges when trends weaken. Focused on AI, semis, cybersecurity, biotech, fintech, defense, and nuclear.
NutHow it works
Each month it scans 8 growth themes (QTUM=quantum/AI, ARKF=fintech, CIBR=cybersecurity, IBB=biotech, NLR=nuclear, AIQ=AI tech, SMH=semis, plus space/defense). It picks the 3 with the strongest trend (50‑day avg price > 200‑day). In each, buy 2–3 stocks with the best short‑term momentum (RSI=recent gains vs losses, or the biggest movers). If a theme is weak, park in T‑Bills (BIL) and small bearish hedges (SQQQ/SARK/BIS). Positions are equally weighted.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this theme-rotation strategy delivers ~46% annualized return vs ~16.7% for the S&P, with higher Sharpe (~1.27) and Calmar (~1.90). Expect higher drawdowns (~24% vs ~19%), but strong upside from AI/semis/cyber momentum and built-in hedges.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
