About

Rules‑based, daily strategy: in uptrends it owns the strongest stocks across “future growth” themes; in downtrends it hedges or shorts the Nasdaq. A circuit breaker jumps to volatility hedges when markets look overheated or deeply oversold.
NutHow it works
First, a market heat check: if several indexes look overheated (a 0–100 “speedometer” called RSI is > ~80), it flips to a crash hedge: 75% UVXY (spikes when volatility jumps) + 25% BTAL (defensive, market‑neutral). If things are washed out (RSI < 30), it buys quick‑rebound funds (TQQQ/UPRO). Otherwise, if SPY is above its 200‑day, it holds the 3 strongest, lower‑volatility stocks in each theme; if below, it uses inverse Nasdaq funds (PSQ/SQQQ). Rebalances daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: Sharpe 1.35 vs 0.88; Calmar 2.19; annualized return ~98% vs ~17.5%. Higher drawdowns (~44.7% vs 18.8%), but crash hedges and growth themes aim for superior risk-adjusted growth vs the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
