About

Rides big tech via 3x Nasdaq‑100 in uptrends, shifts to volatility funds and T‑Bills when overheated, and in downtrends holds a VIX pair unless it’s deeply oversold—then it buys TQQQ for a bounce. Daily rebalanced; concentrated and risky.
NutHow it works
Each day it looks at TQQQ (a 3x version of the Nasdaq‑100). It checks two gauges: a 200‑day average (trend) and a 10‑day RSI (a 0–100 “heat” meter: >80 very hot, <30 very cold). If price > 200‑day: hold TQQQ—unless RSI>80, then 50% VIXY (fear‑index fund) + 50% BIL (T‑Bills). If price ≤ 200‑day: hold 50% VIXM (longer‑dated fear‑index futures) + 50% SVXY (benefits when fear fades)—unless RSI<30, then TQQQ. Rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy targets tech-led upside with disciplined hedges and trend timing. It delivers ~56% annualized return, Calmar 2.45, and a positive Sharpe ~1.21, with drawdowns near 23%. Strong risk-adjusted upside vs the S&P in tests.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
