About

Rides big‑tech momentum with TQQQ in uptrends, steps into volatility funds and cash when overheated, and in downtrends pairs mid‑/short‑term volatility—only buying TQQQ on sharp dips. Very high risk and highly tactical.
NutHow it works
Daily it checks TQQQ (a fund that amplifies the Nasdaq‑100 about 3×). If TQQQ is above its 200‑day average (uptrend), it holds TQQQ—unless a short‑term “hot/cold” meter (RSI) says it’s very hot (>80), then it splits 50/50 into VIXY (fear/volatility hedge) and BIL (T‑bills). If below the 200‑day average (downtrend), it splits 50/50 into VIXM (mid‑term fear) and SVXY (anti‑fear)—unless RSI is very cold (<30), then it buys TQQQ for a bounce.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy targets big upside with leveraged Nasdaq exposure and volatility hedges, delivering ~56% annualized vs ~19% for the S&P 500, but with higher drawdowns. Best for bold, risk-tolerant investors.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
