About

Ride a 3× Nasdaq‑100 ETF when the trend is up; shift to volatility funds plus cash when it looks overheated. In downtrends, either buy deep dips or hold a mix of long mid‑term and short short‑term volatility. Rebalanced daily.
NutHow it works
Daily check on TQQQ (a 3× Nasdaq‑100 ETF). If its price is above its 200‑day EMA (long‑term trend): hold TQQQ, unless 10‑day RSI > 80 (very hot), then go 50% VIXY (volatility) + 50% BIL (T‑bills). If below the EMA (downtrend): if RSI < 30 (very cold), buy TQQQ; otherwise hold 50% VIXM (mid‑term vol) + 50% SVXY (short‑term inverse vol). RSI = 0–100 momentum gauge.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~78% annualized return vs SPY’s ~22%, with a Calmar of 3.41, signaling strong risk-adjusted upside. Expect larger drawdowns (~23%) in stress periods, but trend/volatility hedges aim to protect and monetize big moves.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
