About
A dip-buying strategy that rotates between leveraged U.S. stocks, leveraged tech, and short-term Treasury bonds, while using market-volatility checks to reduce risk when conditions get too unstable.
This strategy mostly tries to buy dips in aggressive stock funds, but only when the market is calm enough.
It compares 3 choices: UPRO (a turbocharged S&P 500 fund), TECL (a turbocharged technology fund), and SHY (short-term Treasury bonds). It uses RSI, a simple “how recently beaten-up is this?” score, and buys the most beaten-up option.
But first it checks how jumpy the market has been using SPY. If markets get too choppy, it moves partly or fully into SHY for safety.
Volatility-filtered dip-buying rotates leveraged tech and S&P exposure with SHY safety. Out-of-sample: ~19% annualized vs SPY ~21%; a diversified, risk-controlled growth alternative to the S&P 500.
