This strategy checks the market every day and asks: is the market trend healthy, deeply oversold, or falling? If trend is healthy, it buys one of three funds: a tech bull fund, a broad-market bull fund, or short-term Treasuries. If markets look weak, it may hide in gold or the U.S. dollar, or switch to bearish funds that rise when stocks fall. It uses recent price trend and “RSI,” a measure of how stretched recent moves are.
