About

Switches between TQQQ (3× Nasdaq‑100) when QQQ is above its 200‑day average and BIL (T‑bills) when below. Aims to ride tech bull runs and sit in cash during downturns; high risk when ‘on’ and potential whipsaws in choppy markets.
NutHow it works
Each day compare QQQ’s price to its 200‑day average (the average closing price over ~10 months). If price is above it, buy/hold TQQQ (a 3× version of QQQ). If below, move to BIL (T‑bills, cash‑like). No scheduled rebalancing—only switches when the signal flips. QQQ = Nasdaq‑100 (big US tech). Expect whipsaws in choppy markets; TQQQ can fall fast.
CheckmarkValue prop
Tech-led upside with risk-off safety: if QQQ stays above SMA200, 3x exposure to TQQQ; else 100% BIL. Out-of-sample return ~25%/yr vs S&P, Sharpe ~0.73, Calmar ~0.76 — strong risk-adjusted upside, but bear markets may see larger drawdowns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
